You are currently on the site for a very active Northern Colorado Mom's Group...well...technically we are a FAMILY group! We have Mom's Nights Out, Business Mom's Coffee-Playdate, Dad's Nights Out, Family Playdates, Family Adventures and MORE! The
has many opportunities each month to get to know other families, and get hooked into the community in Northern Colorado. We also have a
NoCoTots Facebook page
and Twitter profile, so you can get daily reminders about fun 'stuff' to do with your family in the area.
NoCo Tots is not a religiously affiliated organization, but we are extremely grateful to
Emmaus Road Church,
located on Lemay Road, just north of Drake, for providing us with a wonderful space to hold our Wednesday morning Mom’s coffee and Tot's play date.
If your family is looking for a Christian church, this would be one to check out THANK YOU!!
La Leche League
This group is an international breastfeeding support group. It is free to attend these meetings, and the leaders are experienced breastfeeding mothers who also have been trained in lactation support. There are meetings twice a month in
, and once a month in
. Children are welcome and expected at these meetings. Pregnant mothers are encouraged to attend meetings before baby arrives, so they can know any common challenges with breastfeeding, and know when to contact a leader before any challenges get too difficult for Mom! I attended meetings before both of my little people arrived, and it was truly helpful in understanding nursing positioning, common frustrations, and causes of particular difficulties. Dads are welcome to particular meetings in the series as well.
The Family Journey
This group was founded by local mothers who felt the desire to share information about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. Their monthly meeting is called BirthChat, on the third Monday of the month. The speakers who come to share with this group are phenomenal...check
The Family Journey
website for meeting topics.
Mother's Center of Fort Collins
The Mother's Center
is a local chapter of a national non-profit organization run by volunteers, which is an incredible resource to moms in Northern Colorado. We ran one of the Mom's Networking Coffees with the Mother's Center for a time, and love this organization. They have several annual service and fundraising events, including their Preschool Fair and their Summer Activities Fair.
MOPS-Mothers of Preschoolers
MOPS groups are held in local churches, with philosophies based on biblical principles. There are numerous chapters in the area. You can search for the chapter closest to you at this
